What to see and do when staying at an azuLine hotel in Santa Eulalia

Holiday plans in Santa Eulalia

The first thing you have to do is relax because you’re in Ibiza and best of all … you’re on holiday! Whether alone, with your partner, friends or family, some unforgettable days in the white island are waiting for you.

The second thing is to be willing to have lots of fun, admire beautiful landscapes and enjoy the traditional atmosphere and the remnants of the hippie era, relish traditional dishes and discover magical corners.

If you’ve chosen to spend a few days in the area of Santa Eulalia, you have many and varied options. Depending on the hotel where you’re staying at you can walk to some of these places, but for those a little further you should ideally rent a car.

Village of Santa Eulalia del Rio.

We recommend you walk down the streets, the promenade and the harbour while having an ice cream or sit in one of the terraces overlooking the sea. Don’t forget to visit the Town Hall Square, the Paseo de s’Alamera or Puig de Misa, the oldest part of the town, from where you can see all the sea and mountain landscape.

There is also a street full of restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner and choose from traditional local dishes to food from far away countries and continents. If you want to take your dearest friends and relatives a souvenir of Ibiza you’ll find several shops on the main and contiguous streets.

Village of Es Canar.

On Wednesdays you mustn’t miss the oldest and largest hippy market on the island. The Punta Arabi Hippy Market. Born in 1973 today you can find over 500 stands covering all tastes and budgets.

For a great beach day I recommend Cala Nova, a very quiet beach with beautiful scenery and white sand where you can go with your children, partner or friends.

Village of San Carlos.

One of the most emblematic places of the village and the island is the Bar Anita, said to be the first establishment of the island and still fully working. Their sandwiches and their Ibizan herbs manufactured by the family for years are famous.

A good plan is to walk around the village to appreciate the charm of the church and the small houses. You can visit some of the delightful shops around and feel the special atmosphere.
