The best plans for your family holidays in Mallorca

Between my four walls there are some clear protagonists: Children. My colleagues in Mallorca, specialists in family travel, think the same. In the largest of the Balearic islands there are no little wishes but you can find little ones with wishes, small desires, and all the tema do our best to them come true.

Plans with adventure

Yesterday, when I saw the family in Room 320 come in with medieval helmets, I immediately knew where they had been. They must have been near Bellver Castle in Palma, or Castell de Santueri in Felanitx. Those excursions are very exciting!

It is said that in Bellver lives a dragon that keeps a treasure … but maybe it is only a story made up by my colleague 320.

For excursionists, big and small, I have a very special recommendation: Es Salt Des Freu. It is a cascade near Orient, a village in the mountain range. Access is easy and ideal for a family outing.

For nature lovers I have something more: The Natural Park of S’Albufera. In these wetlands all kinds of animals are seen in their natural habitat. Some of them I know personally and they are great. They have a bit of a sweet tooth, but they’re great anyway.

Water Plans

As it could not be otherwise, Mallorca offers endless plans in the water. The most important is Aqualand in S’Arenal, very close to our azuLine Hotel Bahamas.

For fans of salt there are also many beaches that are ideal to be visited as a family. I recommend the Playa de Alcúdia, Playa Camp de Mar (Andratx) and Playa de Muro (between Alcúdia and Playa de Can Picafort). It won’t be for lack of beaches on an island! If you have a personal recommendation tell us in the comments.

Of all the plans my colleagues have told me about I’ve only shared the most outstanding. The truth is that Mallorca offers everything family tourism needs so the list could be endless. For now, just tell me your experiences with my proposals and enjoy!
